We're seeking a talented Ruby on Rails Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You'll work on building and maintaining our core platform infrastructure using Ruby and Rails.
Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
•Design and implement RESTful APIs
•Write clean, maintainable Ruby code following best practices
•Optimize database queries and application performance
•Implement background job processing with Sidekiq
•Write comprehensive test suites (RSpec)
•Collaborate with product and design teams
•Deploy and maintain applications in production environments
Requirements
•4+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience
•Strong understanding of Ruby programming language
•Experience with PostgreSQL database
•Knowledge of RESTful API design
•Familiarity with Git and version control
•Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
•Experience with testing frameworks (RSpec, Minitest)
•Good command of English
Nice to Have
•Experience with GraphQL
•Knowledge of Redis and caching strategies
•Understanding of microservices architecture
•Experience with Docker and containerization
•Background in DevOps practices
•Familiarity with Elasticsearch or search technologies
